Care instructions
Care: The sheets are machine washable at 60°C. They can be tumble dried at normal temperatures and ironed at moderate heat. Dry cleaning is not possible and is not necessary.

Prevents pressure sores
The sheet's good gliding properties reduce shear forces (friction between skin layers). Lascara has a static coefficient of friction of 0.32. This value is low compared to a normal sheet and therefore suggests good pressure ulcer prevention.
Cooling and breathable
To protect against pressure ulcers, good air circulation to the affected areas of the body is beneficial. Perspiration must be wicked away as effectively as possible to prevent damp patches. The cooling properties of the material further help reduce sweat production.
Easier self-mobilization
The smooth surface makes it easier for patients to move around independently in bed.
Patient handling is made easier for nursing staff, as the surface does not offer as much resistance as a rougher material.
